Cober Hill Holiday & Conference Centre is in Cloughton, six miles north of Scarborough on the Whitby road, and half a mile from the sea.
Accommodation is in the Joseph Rowntree Centre, a modern annex comprising a ballroom with sprung floor and comfortable lounge area.
The bedrooms are situated a short walk from the main house where meals are taken.
Walks are mainly along the coast towards Scarborough, Robin Hoods Bay, Whitby, Filey, and some inland from Cober Hill.
Dogs are welcome at charge of £8 per night.
This hotel does not have a bar but does have a table licence.
There is ample parking within the grounds.
The nearest train station is Scarborough where there is a regular bus service to Cober Hill.
There is no need to come with a partner as the atmosphere is inclusive and very welcoming.
Packed lunch items can be purchased locally if required
