• • Willersley Castle is a Grade II listed castle set in 60 acres of grounds, and originally commissioned by Sir Richard Arkwright, the famous cotton industrialist.

  • Accommodation is in the main house and in the mews, a converted stable block located about 100 metres from the main building.

  • There is no resident bar but there is a table licence. 

  • The facilities include a 15 metre swimming pool within the hotel grounds, which is free to hotel guests. 

  • Several walks are available, some starting/finishing at the hotel itself, others by taking a short trip on the local service bus. There are feature walks available, for example, through the grounds of Chatsworth House, taking the High Peak Trail, or following the Cromford Canal.

  • There is ample free parking within the hotel grounds. 

  • Rail access is via Derby to Cromford station, which is about 0.5mile from the hotel.

  • There is no need to come with a partner as the atmosphere is inclusive and very welcoming.
